Secure Encrypted Messaging
Secure messaging lets you send us personal identification information through encrypted messages. Encryption prevents outside parties from accessing this information, which may compromise your identity. Personal information includes account or loan information, social security numbers, or any documents that may include details about you, your bank account, or loan information.

Log in to online banking with the nbkc Mobile App or visit nbkc.com.

If you're using a browser, click Help & Support, then select Alert Center to access Secure Messages.
If you're in the app, click Menu and then navigate to Help & Support > Alert Center > Secure Messages.

Click or tap the pencil icon (✏) on the right-hand side of the page to compose a new message.

From the drop-down menu, select the category that best fits your message. (This helps us route it to the right team.)

Write your subject and message in the fields provided. Attach any documents with the Attach a File link.

Click Send Message when you're done.
Secure Chat Feature
We also offer a Secure Chat feature when you're logged into online banking (desktop or mobile app). This provides real-time communication with enhanced security and privacy for most banking questions and requests. Secure Chat is available Monday-Friday from 7am-6pm CST and Saturday from 9am-1pm CST.
Please note that some services cannot be handled through Secure Chat, including: managing disputes, originating wires, activating your digital wallet, reactivating dormant accounts, or changing contact information. For these specific issues, please contact Customer Support at 866.931.0850 and someone will happy to assist you.
