You can now fund your personal or business checking account using a debit card during the online application process. This feature is designed to make it easier and more convenient for you to get started with your new account.
Please note: Money Market accounts cannot be funded by card.

1. I funded my account using a debit card, where is my money? When you fund your personal or business account using a debit card, the funds will not appear as pending in your online banking account. Instead, the funds will be available in your account within 1-2 business days when they are available to use.
2. Why is my debit card being declined when I try to fund my account? There are several reasons why your debit card might be declined:
- Card Type: Only Visa or Mastercard debit cards are accepted. Discover debit cards and credit cards are not supported.
- Name & Address Match: The name and address on the debit card must match the name and address used during the account application process.
- Funding Limits: Ensure you are within the funding limits:
- Per Account: $50 to $500
- Per Person Daily Limit: $1000
- Per Person Monthly Limit: $2000
- Transaction Limits: 2 transactions per day, 4 per week, and 10 per month.
- Failed Transfers: If you have 3 failed transfer attempts within a 24-hour period, you will be suspended from using debit card funding during the account opening process.
3. What is Astra? Astra is the vendor we use to facilitate the debit card funding process within our online application process. Astra ensures that the transaction is secure and that the funds are transferred to your new account efficiently.

- Multiple Accounts: You can fund up to two accounts in one application using the Astra funding widget. The accounts must be funded at the same time.
- External Debit Cards: You may connect up to three external debit cards over a 30-day period during the debit card account funding process.
