Submitting an Online Wire

First, you will sign in to Online Banking and select Move Money ➡ Business Wires.
- You will select the account to send funds from, recipient, amount, message to beneficiary (optional), and purpose of wire.
- The Message to Beneficiary is for the Recipient. The Purpose of Wire is for reporting purposes for the bank
- Please ensure that the wire's purpose is descriptive and accurately depicts what the wire is being sent for.

After you select submit, a confirmation screen will appear, and you must agree to the terms and conditions and the wire information before submitting each wire.
- After agreeing to the wire terms, you must enter a Secure Access Code (SAC) to verify your identity. A SAC is required to submit each wire.
- After a SAC is submitted successfully this confirmation screen will appear.
- Please note: this does not mean that the wire has been sent. This means that the wire has been submitted to the nbkc Wire Team for review. You can view the status of the wire on the side panel.
- All wires may be subject to a verification call from the wire team.
Setting up a new Recipient
- First, to set up a new recipient, you will select "New Recipient" under the recipient dropdown.
- On the screen that pops up, you will need to fill out all the required information that is needed to save the recipient.
- The display name is just for your personal use, it can be any name you would like
- Once inputted, the routing number will autofill all the bank information that is needed.
- You will only need to use the Intermediary Financial Institution box if your instructions from the beneficiary indicate so.
- The recipient’s name will be the name of the person or business receiving the wire, not the bank.
- Click “Save” at the bottom to save the recipient.
Checking the status of a wire
- To view wires that are in processed or already completed, you can go to Transactions ➡ Domestic Wires and see all wires that have been submitted on the account. You can select a specific wire to see further details.
- From the screen, you can view the process date, the recipient, the amount, the status, as well as which account it was sent from.

Wire Status Definition Approved The wire has been approved to be processed. In Review The wire is currently being reviewed by the wire department. Denied There was an issue with the wire. You can find the reason for the denial on this screen under "Customer Message". In addition, the wire department will notify you through secure messages in your online banking.
