Beginning June 23rd, 2022 the DSB application will no longer be available.
Our customers' cybersecurity has been and continues to be one of our top priorities. In the past, we encouraged customers to download an added layer of security using our Detect Safe Browsing (DSB) application. This application would run quietly in the background and provided additional security while visiting nbkc’s online banking.
With ever evolving technology and web-browsers adopting a security first posture, we've chosen to transition away from Detect Safe Browsing as it has become a redundant tool. Beginning June 23rd, 2022, the Detect Safe Browsing application will no longer be available.
Windows 8 & Up
- Open the Start Menu and select the Settings Icon (⚙).
- Select Apps.
- Select Detect Safe Browsing from the list.
- Select Uninstall.
- A window will open asking you to enter the numbers or letters shown.
- Select Proceed with Uninstallation.
- Once the uninstall is complete we recommend that you restart your computer.
Windows 7 & Below
- Open the Control Panel and select Uninstall a Program.
- Select Detect Safe Browsing from the list and select uninstall.
- A window will open asking you to enter the number or letters shown.
- Select Proceed with Uninstallation.
- Once the uninstall is complete we recommend that you restart your computer.
