Setting up Apple Pay is easy. Check out the steps below to set up your nbkc debit card in your Apple Wallet.
Important: You must have received and activated your physical nbkc debit card before you can add it to your Apple Wallet. The CVV number from your physical card is required for the activation process.
Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
Tap the + icon.
-
Do one of the following:
Add a new card: Tap Debit or Credit Card, tap Continue, then position your card so it appears in the camera frame, or enter the card information manually.
Add previous cards: Tap Previous Cards, then choose any cards you previously used. These cards may include the card associated with your Apple ID, cards you use with Apple Pay on your other devices, cards you added to Safari AutoFill, or cards you removed from Wallet. Tap Continue, authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID, then follow the onscreen instructions.
Follow the prompts to verify your card. This verification process typically includes confirming your full 16-digit card number, answering additional verification questions, ensuring your email address on file is up to date, and in some cases verifying recent account activity (such as your last deposit or recent transactions).
You may need to verify your identity during the process. This typically involves confirming your full card number, ZIP code, and possibly recent transaction information. Card verification is a security measure to ensure you're the rightful owner of the card and to prevent unauthorized setup or potential fraud.
For security purposes, Apple Pay activation may require direct phone verification and cannot be completed through chat support. Our team can help verify your card, resolve any potential blocks, and assist with the activation process.
If you run into any issues during setup, please contact our customer support team at 866‑931‑0850, Monday–Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM CST. We can verify that your card is active and compatible with Apple Pay, ensure your information is up to date, and help troubleshoot any error messages. If the problem appears to be on Apple’s end, we may recommend reaching out to Apple Support.
When linking your debit card to Apple Pay, ensure that you have the latest version of the Wallet app and that your card is properly activated.
