How do I fund my CD?

You can fund your CD using any of the following methods:

Option 1: Fund Through Online Banking (ACH or Internal Transfer)

If you opened your CD online, you may be able to fund it directly through Online Banking using either:

• An existing nbkc account (checking, savings, etc.)
• A linked external bank account via ACH transfer

Step 1: Add Funds

1. Go to Transfer & Payments --> Fund My CD

2. Select the CD you want to fund.

3. Choose the account you want to transfer funds from.

4. Enter the deposit amount.

• For internal nbkc accounts, the available balance is displayed and the transfer amount cannot exceed the available balance.
• For external accounts, balances are not displayed and you must enter the amount manually.

Step 2: Confirm

1. Review the funding details, including:
   • Deposit amount
   • Source account
   • Destination CD
   • APY
   • Maturity information
2. Select Back if changes are needed.
3. Select Confirm Funding (internal account) or Continue (external account) to proceed.

Step 3: Authorize External Account Funding

For transfers from an external financial institution:

1. Review the ACH authorization details.
2. Acknowledge the authorization terms.
3. Select Authorize to submit the transfer request.

Important Note: 

Funding is available for weekend openings, with Saturday and Sunday treated as part of Monday's business day. As a result, no additional interest days are applied.

Option 2: Send a Wire Transfer

You may fund your CD by wiring funds from another financial institution.

Enroll in Online Banking if you are not already enrolled.

Option 3: Mail a Check

You can mail a check payable from your account to:
